The latest offering from OttOmobile is the 1:18 scale Peugeot 205 T16 Evo1. OttOmobile asked fans “What do you think of this future release?”, I think it’s boring! Maybe I’m not educated enough in the way of the French automobile, but honestly, is there a real market for these types of vehicles? You tell me.
OttOmobile New Peugeot 205 T16 Evo1

Of course there’s a market for rally cars, especially for the first victory of a future double world champion car… Now looking for the Evo2 by Otto.
Thank you for enlightening me. I must admit I’ve naive to all rally sport. There definitely is some like for many here.
205 T16 Evo1 is good, and Evo2 is even better!
To say on this car it is boring, is like to say for example that Porsche 917 or Ford GT 40 are boring, just for the comparisson…..This car is among absolute TOP in rally history. Best era ( group B ), technological ( concept of construction ) breakthrough at that time, which nearly all others followed, double world champion, Ari Vatanen behind the wheel….these cars were really monsters…and I like this one even more than EVO 2 as this one look neat and clean, like the production car from 200 pcs homologation serie. Besides, EVO 2 was done by Solido, for Solido extremely well done. This one – Evo 1 – was not done yet and I think, anybody with just a slightly honest interest in rally, is waiting for this…Hopefully I answered your question regarding the market for this car…
Otto are a French company first and foremost. This car represents a milestone in World rallying, and propelled Peugeot into the motor sport arena at a time when they had virtually no exposure outside France. I didn’t know that there had been no previous 1/18th scale model of this car – at least not recently.
WHAAAAAAAAAAT???????????????????? are you serious?
One will hopefully be next to my otto 405 T16 , metro 6R4 , ford RS200 and Audi quattro I’m very glad that Otto produces these models to a high standard when few others bother with these cars
As a WRC/Rally collector this is a must have. I have several rally models from Otto and I am berry happy that they make this monsters, hopefully they will continue.
