Painted Sample Alfa Romeo 33 Street Laudoracing-Models

Laudoracing-Models is showing off the 3rd pre-production sample of their upcoming 1:18 Alfa Romeo 33 Street version.  In total the team is expected to release three variants of the same.  Look for this piece in mid-2023.  On a side note, one of our key contributors took delivery of their 1:18 Alfa Romeo 33 Bertone Carabo 1968 Museum Version replica during their recent “Black Friday” sale, in short, don’t expect too much from an execution side.  He described it as “toy-like” and “somewhat disappointing”.

I have the FIAT Dino from Laudoracing and it is very well executed, detailed and if feels premium.
Anyway i prefer to pay 100 euro for the 33 stradale from Laudo even if it will not be flawless, than to pay ridiculus prices like 600 and 700 euro for the autoart…

That is awesome! This is Dee, the owner of the recent purchase, I don’t feel the same. I’m just setting up expectations, though I will say I do own models from KK Scale, OttOmobile and others and I have to rate this model by LR below them. I will say LR does provide a good assortment of unique pieces. Maybe my model is a one-off, but I’ll stick to the comments. Merry Christmas.

Where can I buy these models? I’ve never heard of this brand.

I have the Alfa Romeo Bertone Carabo by LaudoRacing Models and I think it is a well executed model. OK, not the standard as say AUTOart, but very good overall. Jason, you can find their website here: laudoracing-models.com

Indeed Hector Gonzalez I would completely agree with you that the Carabo is very nicely finished and worth the investment. I would not call it toy-like or disappointing. Those words can only be associated with Bburago, who are a complete and utter waste of time, money and effort. The quicker the Ferrari licence is taken away from them, the better. Norev as you poll favours, would be perfect.

  4. Mikey says:

Sorry Dee, do not agree at all with your comments about the Alfa Romeo Carabo.

  5. Pablo Pozo says:

The Alfa Carabo being an extremely wedgy futuristic concept itself, really is very toy-like in scale 1:1 so not very surprising

  6. Pedro says:

Alfa Romeo Carabo I have seen at Alfa Romeo museum. It is a very nice car. laud Racing Models make exact copy of car. Very good quality model, I say you must buy. It is not toy Dee, it is great model. Bburago make toy not Laudo Racing Model.
