Vittorio Strosek isn’t a car manufacturer, but he’s a name that defines an era of radical automotive design. Think of him not as a builder of cars from scratch, but as a visionary artist who used Porsche as his canvas. His work from the 1980s and 90s went far beyond a simple body kit; it was a complete re-imagining of what a car could be.

Strosek’s creations are instantly recognizable. Where Porsche favored a clean, functional aesthetic, Strosek’s designs were unapologetically dramatic. His signature “flatnose” conversions, along with their distinctive widened fenders and sculpted body lines, gave the cars a futuristic, almost organic, appearance. This wasn’t just for show, either. Trained by legendary designer Luigi Colani, Strosek was obsessed with aerodynamics, and many of his design choices were aimed at reducing drag and improving performance.

The Strosek Porsche Mega 30 is not just a restomod; it’s a statement piece, a modern reinterpretation of the radical widebody ethos Strosek established in the ’90s. Based on a meticulously restored Porsche 964, this limited-edition machine instantly commands attention with its aggressively flared fenders and classic yet modern aesthetic. Strosek has masterfully balanced nostalgic design with contemporary engineering, offering a performance package that lives up to its muscular appearance. With engine upgrades pushing power figures well into the 400+ hp range and a chassis fortified with top-tier components like KW V3 suspension and Brembo brakes, the Mega 30 delivers a visceral driving experience that feels both old-school and cutting-edge. It’s an homage to a bygone era of wild tuning, but executed with the precision and quality of a high-end coachbuilder.

Stepping inside, the Mega 30’s bespoke cabin confirms its status as an elite custom build. The interior is a symphony of high-quality materials and thoughtful upgrades, from the Recaro Pole Position seats to the Alcantara dashboard and custom roll cage. This isn’t a simple bolt-on project; it’s a comprehensive, frame-off restoration where every detail is considered. While the price tag is astronomical, the Strosek Mega 30 justifies it by offering a level of exclusivity and performance that few other vehicles can match. It’s a collectible piece of automotive art that you can actually drive—and drive hard—a testament to what happens when you combine a legendary air-cooled platform with uncompromising modern craftsmanship.

The Strosek Porsche Mega 30 is an absolute standout – GT Spirit has truly delivered here. While some in our immediate collector circle feel the wheels lean a bit oversized, I personally think they complement the car’s exaggerated, flamboyant character. The paintwork is exceptional, rich and consistent, while the overall stance and presence are exactly what we’ve come to expect from GT Spirit’s refined execution.

Step inside, and the interior is just as impressive. The tan upholstery paired against the deep green exterior is a masterstroke – sophisticated yet bold. GT Spirit has also paid close attention to the finer details, and I’d argue this is one of their best-rendered cabins in recent memory.

What makes this model even more exciting is what it represents: GT Spirit’s continued willingness to push boundaries. Instead of sticking to the mainstream, they embrace the unusual, the rare, and the offbeat – bringing collectors something they’d otherwise never see in scale. The Mega 30 is the first in their Strosek duo, with the Strosek Giga slated to arrive in December 2025. If this is any indication, GT Spirit fans are in for another treat.  Enjoy the pics!
