PHOTO GALLERY: Kyosho Lamborghini Miura P400s – Corsa Red

The Lamborghini Miura was once a staple in the Kyosho diecast metal and opening model line-up.  They were considered one of the best and still considered the best by some today.  With the shift to sealed resin, the game has changed much with the Kyosho brand.  Though somewhat cost effective (based on today’s scale model pricing) the latest from the brand is Lamborghini Miura P400s in exterior Corsa Red. Decent body lines mated with the decent interior still leaves us wanting their old school diecast metal release.  There was a few quality control misses with this example too.  Front windshield lift and a small scratch in the rear upper right corner.  Enjoy the pics!

Made by GTS/Otto? Certainly seems to have their usual paint that looks to thick, I’m not surprised it has QC issues if that’s the case. I don’t have my old Jota SVR to hand but I’m sure the interior looked less plasticky on that too.

sorry but you see the old diecast kyosho miura, and now this sealed resin, and there is no possible comparison, the diecast version, it gives a thousand laps

Looks not bad. But knowing they made a decent opening one before makes this one redundant.

This is the GT Spirit model, and has the exact same errors (too narrow grille, wheels with too big tires, etc.). Kyosho is now at the end, nothing more fantasy and nothing more desire for novelty. If at least the prices were low …

The best Kyosho ever was the first generation from long years ago where all the parts going open!
