Pocher Confirms Ferrari F50! | 1:8 (UPDATE)

** UPDATE ** We’ve added some grey-wear images to the conversation.  Not bad!  Let’s hope they can improve on the touch points below!  Inital exterior colour include Red and Yellow.

If you’re hunting for a 1:8 scale Ferrari F50, keep your eyes open—Pocher is moving ahead with a full kit version. The existence of a painted sample has been quietly circulating online for weeks, so the project is no longer a secret.

What matters now is execution. Pocher’s last major outing, the Pagani, exposed some real shortcomings: inconsistent fitment, questionable quality control, and instructions that left too much to interpretation. For a flagship subject like the F50, the community expects a noticeable step forward. This is Pocher’s chance to prove they can deliver a premium large‑scale kit without the frustrations that have trailed recent releases.

512 TR would be better and F355 would be the best from classics (don’t need another F40). From modern Ferraris 458, 488 or F8 of course. I keep fingers crossed for next models from them

Great news! The F50 is perfectly suited for 1/8 scale, as it offers a lot of details to discover under the bonnets.

…but you are right: What matters now is execution.

I would think Pocher should be doing the 2023 Le Mans Winning Ferrari 499P in this manner by now

Looking at their site, I’m not convinced with their interpretation. Wheels are off. Same with the rear mesh grill. The rest of it seems alright.
It reminds me of my Tamiya version. Only 1 scale larger. But I think the Tamiya is better executed for the price.

Tamiya premium 1:12 (e.g. Carrera GT) was really cool. The same to Pocher ? Now I have doubts after your post :/

      • Mr Anderson says:

Yeah, I was hoping the wheel/tires would be better represented but from the pics, they definitely look off.
The mesh grill in the back really stands out though. Very plastic and the holes are way too big compared to the real thing.
I let that slide with the Tamiya version since it was the only one in 1/12 scale at the time. The Pocher being 1/8 though, I expect it to be better represented.

I’ve read that this tooling is almost 10 years old; Pocher had commissioned it but their license ran out, so it was never released. Hopefully their one will noteworthy, pass on this one.
