Car is in-stock as of today over @ Replicarz, so I’d say the release date is now :)

Well I guess that my customers and I may be in the minority here…..
We all thought and expected it to be better, almost seems that they had these models made by a different factory from their other models, which are far better. It kind of looks like they just enlarged a Spark 1:43rd Scarab model. Much of the detail is toy like, other areas are just wrong – inaccurate. Granted they have engine detail, but it is really weak, and with much that is very inaccurate, and no hinged hood. The list of inaccuracies is surprising and extensive. There’s more to say, but I don’t think too many collectors really care. Honestly, I really don’t know how they could have missed so much. I had this on my list to buy, but after seeing what they did….. I’m not so sure now.

Agreed. Seems like all I’ve been doing is complaining lately, and was holding back.
But this model really has nothing to it. Granted, it was a simple 50’s racing car in real life, but this model really did take a lot of shortcuts. The engine really kills it. Even the stamped Halibrand wheels look cheap. A real letdown.

I really wanted to like this car, but it screams “toy” Looks like $79., not the better part of 300 bucks. I expect better from Mark.
