Our next feature catalogue is the 2016 edition by Schuco. Highlights include the 1:18 Porsche Cayman GT4 in Yellow and Black. We have hand-sample photos from the 2016 Nuremberg International Toy Fair, so production isn’t too far off! Does anyone know what to expect for that porsche Cayman GT4 in 1/18, I only have one Schuco model and thats the 550 spyder(its amazing, but not a modern car).
any insight would be nice, ie: diecast, resin, sealed, open, quality, detail, etc.

It says “Edition 1:18” at the top of the page and the Caymans will clearly be diecast with opening parts as announced on their website:

Definitely diecast. R.18 is their high-end resin series. Checkout the DS form for some pre-propuction pics, it looks very good. Top of the list for my collection wants for 2016.
nice! Thanks for the input everyone. I know Schuco is amazing but not familiar with their newer releases and wasn’t aware they made modern cars(im use to their 356, 550 spyder, transporters, etc.)
