Here’s a surprise indeed, the team at Solido is adding a new layer to their scale model division. Formula One will return. More details will follow come October, but what we know today is the following: scale is 1:18, the material is resin, and each piece is sealed. Based on press release photo the model looks quite primitive, but alas they are a budget brand. More news to come, stay with DiecastSociety.com for the latest!

I think the unpainted grey makes it look crude, but the details actually look fairly good. It looks like the rear wing endplates have open slots, the front wing looks reasonable too. Carmodel.com are listing it at €50, and it looks much better than the Bburago F1 cars that are a similar price.
