  1. Obviously, these will be little more than “blow ups” of 1/43 Spark models.. let’s hope NOT with the same discrepancies….. the production numbers are too low….. should be at least 300 – 500.. and why not the 1966 Hulme M6B???

Just purchased the Bruce McLaren M6A by Tecnomodel…. beautiful finish… awesome looking but with one huge discrepancy…. velocity stacks????…..this car never ran with velocity stacks in 1967!!!. For this price this is completely unacceptable. Also purchased the Donohue version from 1968 the overhead air-intake has a solid front…..it should obviously be open…I expected so much more at this price range.

  3. Steve Glamna says:

Paint is beautiful……. engine is completely wrong with vertical velocity stacks. At this price a major detail like this can’t be done this poorly .
    Very disappointed

I bought the 1/18 1967 McLaren M6A knowing I will fix the engine with velocity stack discrepancy using a dropped Exoto Grand Sport car that I have! But they don’t have a small block manifold yet, but on Shapeway site (3D parts printer guys), one vendor has some nice 1/18 printed aside drafts and intake horns! A manifold could be roughed out of plastic! Also fabricating the Magneto!

  5. Steve Glamna says:

Imagine……we have to do our own modifications on a model of this price….. I’d like to know where they get their information from?….

  6. The first problem, the Tecnomodel is listed as a 1967 McLaren #4 M6B. The car was not a B. The car was an M6A.
The second problem, inappropriate fuel injection stacks. Good luck to anyone who can find the room in the engine cover opening for side-draft carburetors too fit.
