The latest skin/livery for the Lancia Beta features the 1979 Monte Carlo Giro Italia car.  The exterior features the cool Alitalia livery.  Car was originally driven by Gilles Villeneuve, Walter Röhrl, and Christian Geistdorfer.  Model will be limited to 400 pieces worldwide.  There will also be a premium version offered with leatherette base, this one limited to 48 pieces.  Contact BBR for more details.

About the ancia Beta Montecarlo Giro Italia…  “The management of Beta Montecarlo Turbo in the race is entrusted to the experience and professionalism of Cesare Fiorio, former Sports Director multi-titled with Lancia and Fiat in the World Rally Championship.  For the first season, 1979, he recruits Riccardo Patrese who also participates in the development and the testing, Walter Röhrl, Carlo Facetti, Eddie Cheever, Giorgio Pianta, and Markku Alén, pilots from competitions on track and road. The Monte Carlo debuts in World Brands race on May 6, 1979 and at the 6 Hours of Silverstone.  The car entered the Tour of Italy for the automotive and Scuderia Abarth driven by Villeneuve-Röhrl-Geistdorfer is disqualified for having covered a stretch of highway during a transfer.”
