TOPART “Dirty” Version Ferrari 488GTB Engine

Adding an additional layer to their 1:6 scale Ferrari 488GTB engine, TOPART is showing off the latest dirty version highlighting the oil, dirt and possible rust of a fully used Ferrari powerplant.  These handmade examples will set you back north of $700 US with production limited to 488 pieces worldwide.  The expected delivery date is August 2022.

    Very nicely done piece, and great to see something different. But would be of much more interest to me if it were a model of a significant vintage engine from either a race car or a sports car. I just can’t see spending $700 on one of these unless I actually owned a 488GTB, and If I did, then I would choose the ‘clean’ version they already produced.

      I agree with MLB. Why would a 488 engine end up looking like this.
      Whereas a 1950-60’s engine would look great with this kind of weathering.
