I had to do a double take when I saw this ; – is this just a re-release of the CMR version done a while back ? I never bought one because of the horrible treatment of the decals over the vents on the top of the fenders F/R . This is one of my all time favorite Porsche race cars ( 3 1/18 Spark versions and the 1/43 Make Up ) , but those decals just laid over the gaps – especially in 1/12 is just hideous . Let’s hope they correct this .
This is not a rebranded / Reissue CMR model. A visual comparison of the prototype photos and that of the CMR shows that the TSM has much more appropriate proportions, correct decal coloring and alignment. There is more photoetch and quality and skilled craftmanship put into the TSM model.
