Update BBR Diecast Ferrari Purosangue Full Open

BBR is not holding back with their upcoming 1:18 full-open Ferrari Purosangue! The team will offer the model in two varieties: polyfoam base or luxury Pack. The latter, in addition to the base and protective plastic cover, will offer a cloth cover for the vehicle, too. Each offering, which we believe is a first for BBR, includes a lever/suction tool and cleaning brush—both items we consider valuable and not just filler!  As the photos will highlight this model will receive a four-wheel steering function and access to the gas filler.  Well done!

This is something BBR should’ve done for the Ferrari 499P. As well as the 488 Pista.

    • Wes says:

Agreed. Kind of annoying they’re giving so much attention to … this, instead any of the myriad of other Ferrari cars. Imagine a diecast manufacturer gets a Porsche license and makes a Cayenne instead of any of the others.

  2. Josh says:

This is really cool and I hope some other manufacturers follow suit. That said, this is easily the least desirable car BBR could’ve done this for…..

This is a really good example of going for the lowest hanging fruit. I’m still waiting for a properly-made 288 GTO with opening bits and this is what we get. SMDH!

This year I bit the bullet and got the Tamiya 288 GTO. It’s such a fantastic display item that I don’t really care anymore if BBR or somebody else does this car. The shape is great, opening features are awesome, you can even remove the service panel behind the seats to access the engine bits. Even though my AA McLaren is my prized car, the Tamiya GTO is just incredible. The fact that BBR decided to make an opening diecast out of a boring Ferrari SUV just goes to show how out of touch they are with what fans really expect.
