For those looking to expand on their Aston Martin collection and only yield to metal and opening examples, XiaoGuang Models has one for you. Coming in early 2025 is their version of the Aston Martin DB12. Four colour options will be initially available, two Green, Purple and White. Optimal options, no! Though Silver/Grey is in the works! XiaoGuang has more to offer in addition to diecast metal and full access, each piece ships with two sets of wheels. Priced around the $250 US mark some might be captivated.

That black border around the windscreen is hilariously bad, and the engine bay is pretty crude. It simply doesn’t look like a $250 model.
… yet. If these are just samples, they’ve got potential.
If they’re launching in early 2025, the chances of significant changes are minimal.
I’d be interested to see this compared to the AA DB11. Gut feel is that the shape might not be great, this looks a little on the bulky side, but maybe that’s just the strange colour choices. I hope I’m wrong, as it’s nice to see someone has released it.
I have pre-ordered this model in Red Metallic with the Bllack carbon roof. The only concern I have regardng this model is that the doors dont open at an angle unlike the real car and the Autoart Aston Martin models. However I am willing to take a chance as it is nice to see a diecast fully opening DB 12. Also the bonnet has proper hinges rather than dog legs ! Iam also waiting for the 1/18 Motorhelix DB 12 to be released soon in resin.
Same here, I have put it on pre-order, willing to risk it. Generally looks quite nice and the wheel change to a second set supplied sounds interesting. And there are no other all-open options. So I hope, this unheard-of manufacturer knows what they are doing with that kind of price tag.
