AUTOart Lamborghini Aventador SVJ – Viola Pasifea

We believe the last official colour from AUTOart for their new 1:18 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.  This colour is defined as Viola Pasifea, for us common folk, it is purple or violet.  And the results aren’t too shabby at all.  Props to AUTOart for exploring alternative colours for their latest Lamborghini effort.  Hopefully, this trend spreads to other projects in the works too!

There’s actually one more color – “Blu Nethuns” or metallic blue which is expected in Q4 this year

The thing is, as I feared, the colour doesn’t look like Viola Pasifae at all. I get that it’s a very difficult colour to replicate, since it’s almost iridiscent and changes between different tones.

We wouldn’t go that far. Maybe it isn’t perfect… Also, until you officially see some collector photos don’t completely cancel it off your list, as AUTOart isn’t the best a reproducing the colour via photos.

I agree with you to an extent. It does appear dull and it is a difficult color to replicate. I had ordered the color from gravity colors which used a tricoat method and I still didn’t like the results. I hadn’t tried the splash paints version but their nissan midnight purple 3 is beautiful. Their version of mclarens lantana purple is great as well. Back to the topic, viola parsifae has a strong pink transition in the sunlight. Maybe we need to see autoarts model in the sun. Autoart does need to fire the photographer…lol. or find somewhere else to take photos. That is the worst lighting I’ve ever seen. The Koenigsegg agera rs in cone orange looked hideous until you see it elsewhere. The orange scion frs is another example. It could have been the Toyota 86.. or subaru brz.. who knows. But anyway, they have ruined the potential of a lot of there models just by the production images released… not to mention other reasons there is controversy related to autoart. 😉
