REVIEW: AUTOart Lamborghini Countach Walter Wolf Edition

It is almost a year ago today I sold my Kyosho Lamborghini Countach LP500S Walter Wolf edition scale car. This week the vacant spot was filled with AUTOart’s version of the iconic Countach. To be honest, I was quite happy with the Kyosho replica, the only reason it was sold was the typical poor Kyosho paint – various rough spots Continue Reading...

REVIEW: AUTOart Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale Prototype

If there was ever a time when one car could be considered the sexiest ever made, the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale would be one of them. Released by Afla Romeo in 1967 at the Sports Car Show at Monza, Italy, this rear mid-engine sports car is nothing short of spectacular! This car was presented to Ferdinand by his son Ferry on his 75th birthday. Following his death shortly after, the car was used as a test mule for all-new Porsche engines. The car Continue Reading...

REVIEW: AUTOart Lamborghini Countach LP400

The latest addition to the Lamborghini collection is the AUTOart Countach LP400, a limited edition with a certificate Signature model. This a milestone model for me as well, number 350. Let me preface this review with a little history, I did own the Kyosho equivalent at one point, in orange exterior colour too. The Kyosho LP400 was a brilliant model Continue Reading...

REVIEW: AUTOart 1962 Chevrolet Corvette

My quest to expand my Corvette collection continues the latest addition is the AUTOart 1962 Chevrolet Corvette with removable hardtop, a limited edition model of 6000 units worldwide. Subtle changes adorn this era of Corvette, the side cove vents and addition of the lower rocker panels are the two most notable changes. This is most definitely another fine replica Continue Reading...
