New from the MINI GT camp is a new line of 1:64 scale models focusing on the Super GT race cars!  Again, MINI GT is pushing the limits with new and exciting models in 1:64 scale, something that is not always shared among other brands.  This is a good thing!  Official PR comments are below.

Another surprise for MINI GT fans!  We are delighted to announce the corporation with GT Association to develop a collection of 1/64 Super GT race car models. This new collection will cover both current GT300 and GT500 class race cars. We will be displaying the samples of some GT300 models at this week’s ALL-JAPAN MODEL & HOBBY SHOW at Tokyo Big Sight Center. The GT500 model cars are in development process, and they will be revealed later this year. There are also plans to develop historic Super GT / JGTC race cars such as Honda NSX-GT, Nismo Skyline GT-R JGTC or Toyota Supra GT500 JGTC. But please feel free to leave us suggestions of your favourite historic Super GT/JGTC race cars and we will take your suggestions into consideration.
