PHOTO GALLERY: BoS Vector M12

Once in a while, a unique and different piece makes it into scale.  This one comes from BoS and features the 1:18, resin and sealed Vector M12.  It is not new, it was actually released in late 2018.  Almost under the radar, the fanfare behind this unique piece was little to none.  The M12’s internal components were based on items sourced from the Lamborghini Diablo believe it or not, as the parent company Megatech owned Lamborgini at the time of development.  Styling was loosely borrowed from the Vector AWX-3, another project that really never made it to production.  The performance was excellent for the period, the M12 was able to accelerate from 0–97 km/h (0–60 mph) in 4.8 seconds and had a top speed of 304 km/h (189 mph).  Not too shabby!

As for the model, as stated it is resin and sealed. The exterior lines are clean and tight, and resonant well with the original design.  Paintwork is great as well as the execution of the wheels.  Photo-etched bits are limited to the external gas cap only.  All openings are crafted with solid plastic, this is extremely noticeable on the side venting for the motor.  Speaking of motor, it is elementary at best.  The interior is clean and features fabric seat-best but no carpeting is available.  Overall a very decent effort.  If you’re looking for something different and sportscar themed the BoS Vector M12 is something you should visit.  Enjoy the pics!

Thank you for this post, been contemplating if I should add one to my collection.

One question I still have is the paint on the wing matches the body?

Bought one a couple months ago, it compliments Ricko Vector W8 very nicely!
