REVIEW: AUTOart Corvette Stingray Coupe 1963

This is the second of two Corvettes to arrive this week. I now present the 1963 C2 Corvette Stingray Coupe. The model here is manufactured by AUTOart, another limited edition release of 6000 units worldwide, which I have #952. I know I’ve used this description before, but its true, C2 in my opinion is sex on wheels. Super sexy body Continue Reading...

REVIEW: AUTOart Pagani Zonda R

I purchased this Pagani Zonda R by AUTOart back in February 2011, it was highly anticipated by me and many others collectors at the time.  AUTOart had really never ventured into this territory of extreme details at $200 plus opening price point.  In retro spec this may have been the birth of what is nearing the norm for today.  Don’t Continue Reading...

REVIEW: AUTOart Chevrolet Corvette C4

The latest addition to the collection is the Chevrolet Corvette C4 by AUTOart.   This iconic car has been a staple in American culture for decades, IMO the best platform overall to come from Detroit.  I consider it the Porsche 911 of North America.  To be honest, it wasn’t on the radar but unexpectedly one came up on eBay, local seller Continue Reading...

It has been awhile since I’ve added a M badge to my collection. I was very excited to here late in 2012 that AUTOart had announced a new release of E30 M3 DTM cars with plain body or presentation car as I like to call them to coincide with the release. I collect a lot of presentation cars, maybe its Continue Reading...

Words and photos courtesy of Frank Lemire   When one thinks of Italian racing cars most will first think of Ferrari but in truth no Italian manufacturer has had more success in more different aspects of motor racing than Alfa Romeo.  The first of the racing Alfa hit the track in 1911, their first victory was in 1913 and Alfa Continue Reading...
