The 2023 Corvette C8 Z06 Coupe redefines performance with its 5.5-litre V8 engine, generating 600+ horsepower and an exhilarating exhaust note. Track-ready with aerodynamic enhancements and adaptive suspension, it’s a pinnacle of power and agility. Advanced tech, including real-time data and semi-autonomous features, further elevates the driving experience. With its bold design and American muscle heritage, the Z06 Coupe is a true icon of speed.
As for the model, this one comes from GT Spirit, their passion for Corvette replicas goes back years, and it seems they are usually ahead of the curve of mid-level entry examples to market. The latest model is the Corvette C8 Z06 Coupe with its outrageous but utterly cool Orange exterior it does command a second look!
What we appreciate is the overall accuracy of the model when it comes to capturing the overall shape and design. This is resin and sealed models, so shutlines and panel gaps are clearly a win. The exterior paint is solid all around too. As for carbon fibre elements, these are also finished in Gloss Black (though the interior side, GT Spirit has used carbon fibre decals to execute the various parts). Wheel effort is one of GT Spirit’s stronger achievements and the design of the wheels and supporting package are very good. The rims deliver the Corvette branding in White on the utter lip.
On the flip side, their usual attention to perforation elements on the exterior side is not found on the front side, they are present on the lower rear end though. Even the large intakes on the side are capped with solid plastic. The rear glass that covers the motor is also tinted dark, this provides zero view of the motor. Likely a good call as we all know that static models don’t usually excel on the motor details!
Overall a solid effort for those wanting to expand on their Corvette collection without breaking the bank. If resin and sealed is not your cup of tea, patience is required and hope that AUTOart will follow suit, as we believe they provide a more complete model in addition to a full opening, though this comes at more more considerable price. Enjoy the pics!
Still waiting for AutoArt to make the StingRay. But they busy with Lambos… So I might change my mind and look elsewhere.
Patience is key in this hobby!
