Kyosho is dusting off the diecast metal mould of their classic 1:18 Nissan Fairlady Z (S30). Come February 2020, one can enjoy three new colours, they include Blue MEttalic, Red Metallic and White Pearl. The price is more, about $185 US. From their Samurai resin series of models comes the 1:18 Subaru S208 NBR Challenge Package in Blue. This one is limited to only 400 pieces and is set to sail in January 2020. Also, in resin, we will see two Asia exclusives in 1:18 scale. The models are Ferrari 308 – LB Works in White/Black and Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 in White. Both are due in March 2020.

Nice seeing Kyosho make some of their better product with the Datsuns! Opening features, an engine, nice rolling and poseable wheels, good colors… Wow!
Glad to see Kyosho’s nice die-cast model with openings, which means they did not completely switched to sealed crap!
It’s encouraging both that Kyosho is continuing to produce opening panel vehicles with quality , and that there are the hobbyist faithful out there who are not falling for the resin ( I’m sorry) CRAP , that in my view are killing the Diecast collector !! I just can’t buy half a car……No engine ?? ,wheels don’t articulate ?? ,and no finger fun (credit Carroom Mag, Joe Kelly Jr.)…..Really ,just aint no fun at all…..Thank God for Kyosho, and others like them AND the secondary market !! FFF , finger fun forever !!
