This is one seldom if ever seen in scale, the 1:18 Maserati Khamsin by TOP Marques. The team is showing off three colours for this upcoming release, we have Yellow, Silver and Red. Based on the initial images it isn’t perfect, hopefully, some more refinement will prevail before full production is presented.

This is a Terrible model. Almost everything is WRONG. It never cease to amaze me at how “manufacturers” like TM can crank out junk like this.
I had a Khamsin, and would like to have a good model of it besides 1:43rd scale.
Hello! I apologize that this isn’t a diecast question necessarily, but I’ve never had the chance to talk with a Khamsin owner! First, I’m extremely jealous. :)
Second, I have seen pictures of Khamsins that do not have the pop-up headlights- some seem to have four rectangular headlights exposed in the grille. Was this a country-specific requirement, or an aftermarket modification? I know in the US the rear lights and bumper had to be modified; were the exposed headlights a similar situation? I kind of prefer the look of them to the pop-ups. Was anything else different, like the grille area was made larger to accommodate these? (back to diecasts) If I purchase one in 1/18, if the grille area is the same, etc, I may try to modify it to the exposed headlight spec.
