AUTOart officially unveiled production images of the upcoming 1:18 Aston Martin Vantage 2019 in Hyper Red today. If you remember back to November 2020 the pre-production sample of the same colour was fitted with alternative wheels. Not sure if we like the results. If interested this colour is set to sail in May/June 2021.

This one looks just perfect to me. Will be in my collection for sure
I like it too and will be buying, but I wouldn’t say it’s perfect. The red in the diffuser looks too elegant against the more racey carbon fiber look it has otherwise. At the same time I also think the side mirrors would look better in red, since they don’t even seem to be carbon fiber anyways, just black from what I can see.
Not a fan at all of the horrid black wheels…looks as if they have been removed off an AMG Mercedes. Makes the car look inferior with these awful black wheels.
I have to say I’m not a fan of black wheels myself. In the end they’re so dark you can’t even glean what kind of design they have. They just make a big black blob with the tyres. Anyway I like this one in red better than the other one in lime that was in another news a few days ago.
