Classic Lamborghinis are something special… In scale even more so, with that AUTOart has finally unveiled their upcoming 1:18 Lamborghini Diablo SV-R in Blu Le Mans. Sorry to report this one comes from the Composite and Diecast series. The model provides full access to the front storage, rear motor and interior. The Blue is just brilliant against the single Red racing seat. There will be three colours too, each is defined below.

At least AutoArt added props to the doors, comparing to theirs Diablo 6.0. And the engine seems to be not so waning as it was on the 6.0. Overall, when I was comparing AutoArt 1:18 Diablo 6.0 to AutoArt 1:43 Diablo VT, the 1:43 one looked more refined! Probably this new 1:18 SV-R will not be so wretched as the 1:18 6.0 was.
I’d rather have this or the SE30 than any previous die cast release by Autoart. Simple as that.
Love the color combo and the OZs this might just be a must get.
Wait, the rear calipers are in the wrong orientation. And that joint in the upper part rollcage is terrible. For the rest, looks like a decent model if we don’t look at the interior.
