There is a new marque under the GT Spirit scale banner, that is McLaren. The GT Spirit team announced earlier today that McLaren has joined the family of autos. The first production pieces by GT Spirit will see the light in early 2020. This could mean some interesting models in resin and scale for the first time ever – street and race too! We are eagerly awaiting the first releases of 2020!

I’m struggling to think of any McLarens that aren’t available through other manufacturers, or at the very least announced:
F1, 570S, 570GT, MP4-12C, 675LT, 720S, Senna, P1, P1 GTR – all made or announced by AutoArt, all are available from other manufacturers too.
600LT – coming soon from LCD
MP4-12C and 650S GT3 race cars have been made by several companies.
What are we missing in 1/18? Has anyone made the 540C or 650S road cars? Tecnomodel announced the Speedtail already and doubtless others will follow, the new GT and 620R will surely come from someone.
Can’t really get excited about GT Spirit joining a crowded market.
Correct me if I am wrong but the MP4-12C spider never been sale in 1:18 scale Minichamps announcement but never made it.
Autoart produces a silver MP4-12C in 1/18.
AA did a few colours of the coupe but I think Moti is correct that there’s never been a Spider. Very hard to get enthusiastic when they’re unlikely to be doing anything new – unless it’s a tuner, as Marcel mentions below. And irrespective, they probably won’t be as good as the stuff that’s already available.
Will be an overload of tuner cars probably.
Lots of spider versions are missing ..
650S was done by Avanstyle.
Yes, you are absolutely right. I focused on the MP4-12C and by mistake I completely missed the spider version.. Sorry about that.
You all are forgetting the best scaled 1:18 mp4-12c gt3 racer. Mafe by Tecnomodel
